I had a great stay at this hotel! the location on a retail park was actually very convenient for me as I was able to do some shopping right next door. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke good English, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast provided was simple but satisfying, and it definitely gave me enough energy to start my day. Additionally, the rooms were well-maintained and clean, and I appreciated the attention to detail in terms of basic amenities provided. One detail that stood out to me was the improved lighting in the rooms, making it easier for me to see. this hotel offers great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was absolutely fine, nothing to complain about.

Room was comfortable, Breakfast good. We were only passing on our journey, would not be somewhere i would choose to stay longer because of the location, but for the reason we stayed and the price it was very good.

Shower not very big, do not know how a larger person would fit in

The hotel was really good value for money, beautifully clean room and the huge bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept on. On site secure parking was a great bonus too- would definately stay again.

My main complaint would be that there were pets allowed and even though it did state they were allowed I didn`t expect as many walking around the hotel premesis---particularly in the dining room when we were eating breakfast---had I known this I wouldn`t have eaten there. I saw 1 couple stroking their dog by their table then handling food that was for everyones consumption without washing their hands and so even though we paid for our breakfast we didnt really eat anything for this reason.I Did note that it was stated that pets were not allowed in the dining areas but staff took no notice of this practice.

Really kind staff, clean and comfortable rooms, proximity to motorway and Sete, good breakfast, convenient location near shops and restaurants.

reception closes at eleven, we were given a code number to get the electronic key from a machine (unlit and with unintelligible instructions), but not told we would have to use credit card; after 15 attempts we managed to enter the hotel, only to find an out of order drink vending machine and long ugly corridors, no lift; hotel situated in the middle of a discount shopping center, facing a busy noisy road; extremely hard to find (no road signs, not visible from anywhere); closed parking inacessible; tv did not work, no wardrobe, no space for luggage; very small room; and smaller rudimentary bathroom; no services of any kind; very expensive breakfast; railway station atmosphere in reception in the morning; dreadful experience, 1 star level

There was zero information on hotel amenities or nearby spots to visit in the room. Plus, there was no restaurant in the hotel, challenging as the eateries in the neighborhood closed quite early.

Location is a little bit strange.

Pro: Not the best hotel I've stayed at, but it's a great starting point to discover the treasures of the area. The restaurant has its own menu and decor, which is interesting. The seafood cuisine is a mix of Italian influences.

Con: I didn't like the old and tired carpet in my room.

Spent my Xmas at this hotel and was surprised with two facts offered: free Wi-Fi and parking space. the hotel is located in a key location, close to different shops and Sete and beaches are only 5-10min far by car, what can be considered an advantage.

The room at The Originals City, Hotel L'Hippocampe, Sete Balaruc-Le-Vieux was so cozy and comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. The duvet was really soft, and the free Wi-Fi made it super easy to stay connected. Plus, the flat screen TV was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. As a backpacker, I couldn't ask for more!

Personally, I didn't enjoy the air conditioning in the room. It felt a bit too cold for my liking.
